Yes it is very good. Be careful though. There's an imaginary line where if you over do it, it ruins the chili. Just enough and it's really really good. If you want to get experimental, go for some dark rum. Just a little bit. None of that flavoured stuff either.

Never met a chili I didn't like.
Met two beers I wouldn't buy a 6 pack of.

Actually Yes it is good. Rachel Ray did a segment on her TV show putting wine/ beer in her chili...I tried it and it was delicious. Good Luck!!! And Yes I could use some right about now :)

We always put beer in our chili and less water....it is very good adds flavor

It might be good to some but, gawd, does it cause GAS, we are talkin' mattress melters, whew, hang a whole pine tree from the waistband of your pants and have a dog nearby you can blame it on! No Thanks, I'll pass(No pun intended)
