i think they are ryan leaf andre ware brian bosworth kurtis enis kyle boller william green courtney brown tim couch akili smith carlos rogers Aundray Bruce [ marcus cotton was a OLB not MLB he was pick in the 88 draft in the second round so he cant be the biggest ever ] Tony Mandarich is probably the biggest ever because the packer could have got deion sanders barry sanders derrick thomas or steve atwalter . then maybe i would say Steve Emtman because he played i think 7 seasons but never a full nfl season due to his knees and he was bigger that his legs can handle which cause him to have horrible knees also fter they picked hm they had the second overall pick and he busted to Quentin Coryatt who played 78 games recording 8 sacks 50 tackles a year a 4 ints when the could have got jimmy smith or troy vincent or even desmond haword who they could have coached well wth their system and not have had floped at wash. jacksonville and then finnally have a great season which he had at greenbay

Oh, without a doubt, Tony Mandarich.I had the Tony Mandarich SI cover hanging in my locker in high school. I definitely drank that Kool-Aid. Remember that article? The only good thing to come out of that was the pancake statistic.

Not as recent as Ryan Leaf or David Klingler, but in 1983, with all of those great quarterbacks, the Kansas City Chiefs with the 7th pick overall, selected Todd Blackledge. He was the second quarterback taken that year behind John Elway and ahead of Jim Kelly, Todd Eason, Ken O'Brien and Dan Marino. Then Blackledge went on to be a TOTAL BUST!

It has to be Tim Couch. Look at his high school resume, maybe the best high school qb of all time. He was very highly recruited going into college. At Kentucky he did phenomonal, werthy of a number one pick. There was so much hype surrounding him, more than Ryan Leaf had by far. At least Ryan Leaf is coaching now, Tim Couch is on his couch wishing what he could have and should have been.

Definitely Ryan Leaf. He was supposed to be up there with Peyton Manning and we all know who had better success in the NFL. Brian Bosworth comes in second in my opinion since he was so damn cocky. Mario Williams may be up there as well; he wasn't worth the #1 pick, but oh well, it worked out better for my team, the Saints, who got Reggie Bush!

Ryan Leaf hands down, but right behind him is Todd Marrinovich! Al Davis rides again.
