How do you deal with people who don't respect you?

depends on my mood at the time...responses range from ignoring them to thinly veiled threats of exquisitely painful physical torments.

I don't deal with them. I don't associate with people who don't respect me.

the best way to deal with them is calmly and with a smile.
i've had this colleague who was terribl rude, i was very calm with her which made her feel like a worm and she always ended up crying because she knew she lost the battle.

I ignor them as best I can, and if I do have to interact with them I kill them with kindness. That way if they ever smarten up and see how disrespectful they are, theire concience will get the best of them because I wasn't the ***.

This happens at work sometimes. I just don't deal with them in any other way other than a proffessional manner. If you don't have to deal with them, don't. If yo uhave to, work with them. And don't forget!! It's THEIR problem not yours. ;)

If their lack of respect for you is justified, then LEARN from it and improve where you need to.

If their just perverse egotists messing with your head....screw 'em.

I treat them like the dumb@sses they are.... speak slooowwly...use diagrams where necessary... and make sure their day pass is secured firmly to thier jacket.... otherwise I ignore them.
