Maybe Britney Spears has cancer? Anyone think of that before being mean to someone you don't know?!?

Has she bollocks got cancer. I am an oncologist, and I should know. She has stubble - five o'clock shadow. Her hair is regrowing. She shaved her head, at a guess, between eight and twelve hours before that videotape was shot. Chemotherapy (not cancer itself) makes the hair fall out by destroying the rapidly growing cells in the hair root (which it cannot distinguish from the equally rapidly growing cancer cells) leaving the scalp completely bald. The hair does not regrow during chemotherapy, and there is no stubble.

There is no need to waste our sympathy on Ms Spears - whatever illness she has is mental and emotional, not physical.

I say may be! but could that one that is going around punching out other women I meen the TOP Moddle in the world and even Necoll who they killed her son five months ago and kill her last month and her baby is now been used as a pawn, are you saying they

maybe britney does have cancer if so it was a very brave thing to do, and if not who cares if she wants to shave her hair then let her do it!! she wants to be left alone and if she's not seen as such a sex icon maybe she thought it would take the attention away from her but unfortunatly it has backfired the press should leave her aone to sort her life out she's obviousy upset with her marriage falling apart and the well fair of her two boys she is a fantastic woman and i think people should remember her for what good shes done over the year not for how she's been the past 18 months so britney you dowhat you feel you have to do to feel better think about you and your kids and screw the world and what they think xxx

no way! If she had cancer,it would have been all over the press!! celebrities always let that kind of news spill! Britney just went nuts,and it could very well be a publicity stunt! who knows,they'll do anything to sell! I mean,if she wanted to keep her shaving her head as a secret,she would have done it in the privacy of her own home,and not barge in to some hair salon and make a whole sceene about it!

Im not a fan of Britney Spears but I do feel sorry for her for what she has been going through in the last couple of years.

Like when her marriage was on the rocks and she was pregnant with her second child all people were interested in was slagging her off for looking a bit rough - her husband was chasing everything in a skirt, she had a toddler and another baby on the way no wonder she was looking a bit rough anyone in her situation would be.

Since marrying Kevin Federline her career has gone down the tubes. She then files for divorce and rather then spending time with her two sons she decides to hit the town non stop with Paris Hilton so hence her reputation has gone down and falling out of clubs half drunk with no underwear on is hardly what she wants her kids to be seeing in years to come. I think the hair thing is just a big stunt for sympathy. If its anything more serious then my thoughts are with her sons but i really don't think she has cancer, just a career to revive.

I think she is on the verge of a breakdown. Makes u wonder what its like at home for the poor kids to watch their mother in such agony. Its funny, everyone is quick to bitcch about someone that clearly has problems. I dont think for one second its a publicity show, who would do that to themselfs?? To take a piture of britney spears at her lowest is worth money, and thats why the photos of her are out. Maybe if she was left alone to sort herself out without people condeming her, she may be able to get herslef sorted. Imagin if you felt like sh-t and then opened a newspaper and saw yourself all over the it, and having everyone digging at the way you look, act, ane even are as a parent would drive you a bit crazy. I just feel sorry for her.

You have actually seen the footage of her shaving off her hair in front of the papperazzi haven't you?

It didn't fall out. She turned up at a hairdressers shop after it closed, waited outside for 10 minutes until someone turned up to reopen it, then she sat inside and shaved her own hair off.

Women with cancer don't tend to do that...

So are you suggesting that when someone appears to be acting oddly that they should be left entirely alone? I certainly would not like to be one of your circle.

Suggesting it may be cancer appears far more extreme than other alternatives and points of view.

It may be a sign she is in some form of stress, Breaking out of depression or simply seeking a new image.

I would suggest to you that suggesting she may have cancer is really about as low as it can get. I would hope everyone here is far more charitable and hopeful for her than to suggest that!

Be careful what you suggest for others may come true for yourself!!!

I never thought of that, but if Britney has cancer, it would have been in the news like Kylie Minogue was when she had breast cancer.
