My almost 12 year old granddaughter insisted I bring two movies home from her house to watch. "Material Girls" starring the Duff sisters and "Just My Luck" with Lindsay Lohan. Is she trying to torture me or what?

Please, give that girl an assignment: watch some decent movies! Pick some movies for y'all to watch together, or stuff she can watch on her own. Come on. Beetlejuice? The Princess Bride? Goonies? Make sure she watches those.
She's trying to show you what's hip, what's cool...among dorky preteen girls! As her grandmother, you need to steer her away from this lame tripe! Please, for the sake of the future, MAKE HER WATCH SOMETHING BETTER!!!!
