IMAX is HUGE! The screens are up to 8 stories high! The image wraps around you so you feel as if you are in the movie. They started with mostly educational documentaries about nature. The one in space was in 3D and was amazing! With the computerized special effects more and more feature films are also being presented in the IMAX format.

The Imax screen is huge! We have seen several movies in Imax and it was so great. Made the movie experience much better. Harry Potter flying on his broom or Beauty and the Beast were great! The ticket price was higher than the regular theater.
