yes they are cause the ratings are droping really bad.

1) I think viewers decreased greatly once Mischa Barton's character was killed off.
2) the show seems to have decreased in quality a bit each year since season 1
3) Che. 'Nuf said.
4) I spoke with a guy who was an editor on the show and he said they felt like Fox didn't care about them and wasn't giving them any attention. I think this is true too. I mean, if you watch Fox other than when The OC is on, they NEVER advertise for it!

THEY SAY its because the writer or creator of the show wants to move on and do something else. But I think its because the ratings have dropped tremendously since they killed off Micha Barton's character last season. I know I haven't watched it since then.

Since Marissa died their ratings have dropped and they want to quit while the show still has some popularity rather than waiting until it dies a slow death. Kinda the way they did with Seinfeld I guess.

I don't know have you been watching it latley. It is terrible, I wish they would cancel it sooner they had to make someone pregnant and have an earthquake. They're running out of ideas....

I dont understand either! I love that show. I think they just wanna put more stupid reality shows on. Or thye dont have anymore ideas for the show!

well because not that many people are as into it as they were before and i think they all wanna try something different. i think they are also kinda running out of new ideas for the show....

because it's a TERRIBLE show!!! nothing original about it, nothing realistic....just an updated version of 50 other shows from the past decade!
