YES!
Americans work long hours... for what? Just to make ends meet.
In Europe, people tend to work less than Americans. And sure, they may not have a giant house and a BMW like the American would, but so WHAT? They actually have time to enjoy life...
Europeans spend more time with friends and family, spend time at the local pub/bar, take part in more cultural activities.
Europeans tend to know what's important in life. Work is NOT the most important thing in life!
Americans don't seem to understand this obvious point, though.

Yes it does cuz work creates stress which releases chemicals in the brain which inhibit creativity.
