im a 18 year old girl and i have been with my bf for over 1 year now,i can trust him with everythink i say.i hang around more with my bf than my 4 friends and this is cause 2 of my friends are always busy and my other 2 friends well i dont have much cash to go out.i tryed making new friends so many times at youth clubs,school,college,the training centure im at now but i just end up not making any more they end up been horrible to me.i try to be myself and talk to them as much as i can.i have trust problems to as 2 of my friends who i have known for a one since primary school and the otehr 5 years ended up bullying me.i dunno what todo cause when my bf goes out with ehs friends i get jealous and i dont have true friends like him.

the two 'friends' that bullied need to be cut loose you just don't need them.
my two greatest friends i have known for just over ten years i would trust them with anything and they will be with me for life. i was 22 when i met them.
hang in there good friends r picked up along the way (i have found more since then) its part of the fun of life. never stop trying to make friends in case you become to dependant on your boyfriend and thats never a good idea. good luck x

I'm sorry to hear about your experiences with 'friends'.
There is nothing wrong in spending lots of time with your b/f but, your right to acknowledge that you need to develop your independence and own identity.
Friendships support you with this task, but only good ones. Good friendships can arise out of many situations.
Try a little more creative thinking. If your interested in something maybe a sport, you could try joining a sports club/health club, there you will meet like minded people. If you like listening to a certain type of music, check to see if there are any events being held in your area.
Volunteer work is another good way of meeting people, maybe just a couple of hours a week in a charity shop or somewhere similar.
An additional benefit will be that by engaging in volunteer work you will show any future employer that you have gained some valuable experience.

If you say your bf is your best friend, you should try to trust him a bit more. It's not the amount of friends that matters, its the quality. one good friend is all you need.

hmm...that's a touffie. in my experience i make the best friends when i'm hardly trying. do something nice for someone (helping someone pick up spilt papers worked for me) and sometimes it turns into a friendship. it's crazy how easy it seems to make friends until you're trying, hunh? happy hunting.

that is now common. while a woman first gets a boyfriend, she usually avoids her pals in prefer of him. yet bear in concepts the old saying: Chicks in the past *****. Is he ditching his pals to hold close out w/ you? is this certainly the guy you are going to marry? nicely possibly, yet you nevertheless prefer bridesmaids if that occurs.
