OK....SO NO PC WILL RECOGNIZE MY SEAGATE 40GB EXTERNAL USB HARDRIVE. I CANT FIND THE DRIVER DRIVERGUIDE IS DOWN FOR MAINTAINANCE. IVE LOOKED FOR IT EVEN ON SEAGATE.COM. CAN ANYONE TELL ME EXACTLY WHERE TO FIND IT????

it usually is a plug and play but i accidently unplugged it while it was playing a song now it doesnt work

Hi. There should be no special driver needed. Double check the cable for damage and the power supply if it has one. Some do.

it took me forever to find it too, it IS on seagate.com and you need to run some program they have. also it depends on which OS your running...
