long legs - no webs ( SHAME ON YOU the seafood industry has spent millions promoting - ALASKAN KING CRAB to make them sound more editable and now you've spoiled it )

and they DO NOT look like spiders they look like CRABS

but there is a spider called the CRAB SPIDER that does look like a crab and even moves like one - NOT KIDDING - search it

No - they are called spider crabs because they are crabs that look like spiders. They are not spiders.

No. They do not spin webs because they are nonwebous spiders who do nt have spinnerets, the organs needed to make webs at all.

oh no, my friend. u've got it all wrong! the only reason spider crabss are named after spiders is because of there 8 legs. they're too heavy to sit on a web without breaking

ARN'T THEY the same as jumping spiders who catch their food by lurching out
at their prey and eating them live? who do not make webs. they are crabs.
