what is better? ps3 or xbox 360?

We have tested and accepted reviews on both systems As far as graphics are concerned they are both similar since the xbox has recently released a 1080 update allowing the 360 to display full 1080 on 1080 capable t.vs. prior to this update the 360 couldn't go 1080.

Playstation 3 does offer more out off the box than Xbox 360, and the PS3 network is free to owners of the PS3.

Xbox 360 currently has more games available and Halo 3 is soon to be released.

Both offer WiFI connection to the internet Xbox needs pruchase of extra hardware to do so.

Graphics and rendering power of PS3 seem a little better than 360. However, the durablity of the 360 seems to be better than the PS3 at this time. Then againt he 360 has been out a little longer and has had some bits fixed. If you get a 360 remember to purcase the external fan, harddrive( so you can play older games) and have an internet connection so you can download the upgrades.
If you get a PS3 always wait a few seconds before taking the disc out so the disc has had a chance to slow down. I wouldn't recommend a PS3 for a home that has small children, it is kinda delicate.

I tend to try but never buy first generation consoles just to be sure what I buy will last.

Both systems are pretty good, so either one is worth it.

The 360 is better. The PS3 is a good system but the 360s library of games is HUGE compared to the PS3s. Also, the xbox live community is great and PS3 has online but it's a joke. There are over 50,000 people a day playing Halo 2. If you don't believe me go to bungie.net. The price is much better also and the graphics really are not much different. Go with the 360.

At the moment the 360, in the long run the PS3 will be. The PS3 may be the more powerful and all but right now the games aren't doing crap about that power.
OK first wave 360s probably overheated quickly. What are you people smoking though claiming they are still doing that? I have one and NEVER had problems. Play it for over 2 hours, since the one said you can only get 2 hours out of it. Heck when GTA4 comes out I'll probably be finding out how many straight hours I can get.

the ps3 is a stronger system that will eventually have much better graphics

the xbox has more games and better games then the ps3

so right now graphically the two systems are pretty equal but hte xbox has more games available my suggestion is buy the ps3 if u have an extra 600 bucks if u do not then you should wait until the ps3 puts out the good games like metal gear and gran turismo

I would say the 360 is the better system because it's online gameplay is unmatched. When it comes to graphics, both systems are on par with each other, and the xbox is cheaper and has a broader library of games.

that is all only opinion. 360's are genereally centred greater in direction of jsut the hardcore gamer with titles like gears of conflict. It does no longer positioned lots of an emphasis on multimedia. The ps3, jointly as no longer the main popular in terms of video games is able to somethings that the 360 isn't working example the blu ray participant. all of it comes right down to what you would be utilising it for.
