I've tried to save it to my memory card, and then send it out, but it says the picture is to large. What am I trying to reduce exactly, and to what size? Help! :)

your going to have to resize the image itself, with some sort of image editor, like photoshop or something. and i would reduce it to something under 300k i think, depending on the phone, but if you save it as a .jpg file it will more than likely be smaller like 48k or 112k or something like that, or you could try and email the pic to someone you know that could do it for you if you dont have image editor of any sort.

You are trying to reduce the size of the picture. It is probably to big for a cell phone. If you shrink the photo then send it or even crop it, that would be better. Then save as thumbnail size. If there is an edge on the picture that you really don't need. Crop, then send it to the cell phone.

What carrier?? If it's Verizon here's the steps. Go to a basic picture editor such as Microsoft office picture editor (under Microsoft office tools on your PC or mac) reduce it to 640x480 email it to your phone yournumber@vzwpix.com and it will be sent through via txt message OR drag the picture in (once reduced or compressed) your memory card folder.

Hope this helps!

Send the picture as an attachment via e-mail. When you get ready to send it, in the "To:" area, enter the phone number (including area code) and add "@teleflip.com" (example: 5551234567@teleflip.com) It will send the message to the correct cell phone's address without you having to do anything further. The only thing is that the cell phone has to have Internet/text message download capabilities.
