Dude!

There are 3,800 colleges in the USA. A skilled, talented athlete with a 3.8 could probably get admitted to 3750 of them with no problems. If he had good SAT scores, that would probably add an additional 30 to the list! But, you need to narrow down your criteria if you want to get a serious answer: North, South, East or West, big or little, state or private, city or country, etc etc...

A good way to narrow down your search is to go tothe collegeboard.com website and use their college search system. It will let you choose a part of the country, size of campus, ratio of men to women! etc Then it will show you schools that fit those choices.
If you do fairly well on the SATs then you can send copies of your report to the coaches at 30 or 40 schools that you are interested in. You have a really good chance of getting into a very respectable school, earning a sports scholarship and saving your family $100,000 while getting a good education.

You have a bright future ahead!

I don't think I can straight up just tell you what school you can get in, but here are some pointers.

Take your SAT's, get a time table of when to apply for schools, then ask this question again. The SAT's are very important. But applying in time is just as important.

Next you need to think about what you would like to do for a career. Not every school is strong everywhere. Narrow down the schools that have strong programs as well.

In addition, you can find out information about school specifics as to who can get in through US News and World Reports rankings of schools.
