Doesn't wearing closed toe shoes defeat the object of painting your toenails?

Sure, in the winter, most people don't go walking around in their flip-flops. But in many places, winter isn't much different from summer, so it really doesn't matter, does it? But for those who live in the colder winter places, there is just something in painting your toenails that makes our feet feel pretty. It's like eating birthday cake when it's no one's birthday. It useless, but there comes a satisfaction from it. <3

I always paint my toenails, even during the winter. I fall/winter shades of red that i paint my toenails with. Even though i wear closed toed shoes, there are many instances where i have bare feet. I'm a swimmer, whenever there's a formal event my toes show, slumber parties or just even parties i have bare feet...

It may sound crazy but yes I still paint my toenails in the winter!

Yes, I paint my toenails all year long. Even if you are not going to see them because it is pretty and I like my feet groomed. Besides, I' am going to take my shoes off regardless of the season.

I don't really. To me there isn't a point because I wear socks and closed shoes. It's too cold not too. In summer I paint my toenails and show them off with cute sandals. :)

It kind of does, but if you are in a warm place and you decide to take off your socks, at least your toenails will be painted.

I never do my toenails in winter. I usually put on toenail polish in summer or spring.

I still paint my toes in the winter it makes me fell good and it is relaxing and I experiment with colors.

I paint my toenails no matter what... giving myself a mani and a pedi relaxes me lol. I do it for myself. And plus, who cares what you do (or don't) to your toenails...

not just others
it is something to keep you busy
and who knows
maybe your toes will be in public
because
in winter you dont HAVE to were close toed shoes
