It would depend on whether or not the judge presiding over the case EATS PEOPLE! "But your Honor, it was self defense! And my foodstamps ran out! And geez, Have you ever had lemon pepper people parts?" I'd have to say cannibalism is a crime..pass the K.C. Masterpiece...Well done.

Yes, and No... Canabalistic societies can't Differentiate between killing and surviving... Murder is like taking out the trash...
That sounds cruel and pesimistic, however, u did refer to a canabalistic society. Canabals, eat each other. U must watch too much National Geographic. I say get a life and travel to Switerland where everone is rich and unemloyed. The have sex, shop and dine at fine restraurants, ski in the afternoon and bike ride during the morning... Far cry from canabalistic societies. U must be from the same country i come fromm....

Murder is always a crime since it is always a legal definition. Killing is not always defined as murder, and is acceptable under certain situations (such as self defense) in any society.

So, if a canabalistic society has defined murder, it is by definintion, a crime.

What you are really asking is if canibalistic societlies define some sort of killing as murder. The answer to that is yes, they do.

Yes, indeed it is. Generally, in cannibalistic societies, the people that are eaten have died of natural causes, the act of eating that person is supposedly to allow those people some sort of bonding...also, generally it is the women and children that participate in cannibalism and generally NOT the men. Go figure. As a side note, its also a source of CJD or mad cow disease.
