As in sending astronauts into space. There must be enough money, what with all the tax they get.

Strange to say "there must be enough money because of all the tax". If we stopped spending money on hospitals and schools, no doubt we could easily build our own rockets. But why would we want to? We hardly have the money for the important things like health and education, as the sorry state of these services show. This is thanks to years of us demanding lower taxes. So no, there isn't enough money.

we do have a space programme the space between the rich and the poor and the north from the south,oh and by the way most politicians are in space as they have,nt got a clue what is going on here

Define a space program. Britain launches satellites. They've got the freakishly named Skynet.

Britain is part of the European Space Agency so does have a space programe, in conjunction with other nations

Just think of the benefit in us NOT having anything like the American NASA - if they successfully colonise the Moon or Mars for example there`ll be a lot less Americans on Earth - gotta be a good thing LOL.

it has little to do with how much money but everything to do with where the money is needed ( and politics - the soviet union would perhaps still exist if it wasn't for the space and weapons programs )
