not because they have really disappointed thus far and it might be too late to make a run because NO's is now healthy. denver will likely take the 7th spot, but the clips have to compete with the wolves, hornets, and warriors for the 8th spot and i dont see it happening. i think the 8th spot will go to NO. now that they have paul and west back.

The teams that will make the playoffs in the West are Phoenix, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Denver, Utah, The Lakers and.... yeah, it's hard to figure that 8th spot.

The Clippers should get in based on their talent. So far this year, they have really underachieved, and are still right in there to sneak into the playoffs. They are a little bit better team than The Warriors, Hornets, and T-Wolves, and play much better defense. They should make it in, yeah.

It doesn't seem likely.
They came to the season VERY unprepared
(even Coach Dunleavy said so)

I think 8th seed will be between Golden State and Minnesota
Golden State will probably get it once they get Baron Davis and JRich healthy (every other rookies in GSW improved dramatically, therefore they'll make the playoffs)

no. they definetely have the talent, though.

it's weird that teams usually experience peaks and valleys when they acquire sam cassell. after his stay in houston, phoenix and i believe dallas...he along w/ kerry kittles and van horn were supposed to bring the nets (at that time) out of the cellar. never happened, but the nj fans were excited about the team. then he went to milwaukee. along with ray allen and big dog they led the bucks to the eastern conf finals in 01'. then all downhill for milwaukee after that. next was a stop in t-wolf country with kg and spree. they went to western conf finals in 04'....then after that gripes about the team, money, playing time, whatever. and now his stop in clipperland. they make it to the 2nd rd of the playoffs in 06....and now this? they should be a 4-6 seed with the talent they got...but they are just underachieving.

usually seems to happen with sam i am at the helm.

No, The clippers always choke. Last year was the fluke not this year.

Nope, the Suns will win the division and they won't make the wild card because the Lakers will win it. They will finish the season 3rd in their division.
