I'm not talking about one of those haunted houses that makes money by making tours or anything retarded like that. I'm talking about a house that is actually haunted. What happens if it burns down, where do the ghosts go? Can fire hurt ghosts? Do they burn up in the fire?

They seek help, or move in with other ghosts. There are many organizations that help ghosts in need when a tragedy like this has happened. Go to www.homelessghosts.com...... SIKE!

actually i am a gost hunter and the facts that i have found in my research are that they will stay on the grounds of the land they died. Only if they have been left alone for some time. If the people that lived in the house stayed there for 18 to 20 years before it burns, the ghost will be tempted to follow. But they wont follow the people for very long

No, fire can't do anything to ghosts. If they're haunting the house, that is, they haven't passed over, I believe they will still haunt the location, and in their dimension, the house still exists. I wouldn't want to build another house on the location of a previous haunted house....

When a haunted house burns down, some poor ghost is homeless, I guess.

They seem to stay in the area and inhabit the dwelling that is built there later. I worked in a hotel where the orginal building had burned 30 years before and the owners built a new one on the site. The newer one was inhabited by the spirits that were in the old one. It was an interesting place to work.

No, fire wouldn't hurt a ghost. They're considered spirits, not flesh.
If I were a ghost, I would live in a house that was occupied so I could scare people.

they will stay there and if any other house is built on the property then it will be haunted, this is why people will say i just built this house how come its haunted? well the land was there and whatever happened on the land, death, murder, ect, the energy is still there so the house just becomes a part of the land and spirits.no, fire cant hurt them there dead.

fire does not destroy an entity. and in regards to the PHYSICAL structure of a house being destroyed... the ghost doesn't ACTUALLY live in the structure... it lives in the entity of the structure: if the house burns to the ground the ghost STILL lives in the entity structure... their building didn't burn down. when the land is built upon again the ghost still inhabits THAT structure because they never went any where to begin with.

Ghosts (actually energy) still stays in the same place, regardless of what happens to the house or whatever is standing on the property. Even if something else is built, the energy will simply "invade" the new standing building.

Have a lovely rest of the day.

Fire won't hurt a ghost. Maybe they live outside of time and stay in the house while it's still standing. Good question.

Homeless ghosts? Just kidding. I think I've heard that they simply remain on the property and if someone comes along and builds another building, they take over there.
