Why don't they have a catagory for couples with happy relationships whether they are married or not, all you ever see with couples on here is negative stuff.

For the past year, I have been with the finest man I have ever met in my life. I was a serial dater after my divorce 5 years ago. Lots of dates, many relationships.... and then I met him.
I knew on the second date he was it for me, and I have never had that happen before.

We had our bumps early on, but we worked them out, and now it's like a fairy tale. Our families have blended amazingly, and we all get along and have fun.
Respect, romance, great sex... it's all here.
I'm one very lucky girl.

Take heart, I've also suffered with depression on and off for years. It doesn't mean that you can't have a healthy and happy relationship with a man, more likely, you just haven't found the right man yet. Also you need to make sure that you are getting the right treatment for your depression, because that can make all the difference in the world. Please don't listen to people who tell you that you can just pull yourself out of it. Untreated depression can have serious consequences. If you really hate the thought of being medicated then speak to your Dr about Cognitive Behaviour Therapy or seeing a councillor to help you through it. Also, I believe, that it's hard to believe someone else can love or be interested in you if you don't love and like yourself. Concentrate on doing things to make yourself feel happy and whole again and love will come along when you least expect it. Minxy

I am in a very happy relationship. I love my wife and children dearly. I guess, like others, I am satisfied with my life/relationship so I do not need to seek answers.

Personally, I think a better question than your is...Why do people with relationship problems seek advise on Yahoo Answers? Perhaps their coping and problem solving skills are why they are having problems in the first place. Don't you think there are more apt places to seek relationship advice than an online forum such as Yahoo Answers???

my dear jup...just because ur relationship might be at a happy point right now doesn't mean that everyone else has to be the same way ....i know that u tend to wonder "if they dont get along why are they together" thats what everyone does but the truth is no one ever really knows the inside story except the 2 people involved ...dont let there problems bring u down ..remember they need their questions answered too and at somepoint or the other every relationship suffer a crisis small or big and yes we dont have to get involved in other peoples lives or let their problems bring us down but me must respect their descision to voice it or keep it too them selves after all ..nobody is perfect :-)

People want answers to fix what is wrong. People are hoping to get answers from people who are doing something right in their relationships (happy relationships). Happy couples worry about other stuff so they don't ask questions in family and relationship category.

OK My girlfriend asked me what I loved about her. Insecurity maybe.

I said its not just one thing,it didn't help. I will tell. When we first met we arranged to meet it a shopping mall restaurant. It has a upper and a lower floor I went to the upper level. She arrived I could see her (gets a bit pervy)on the lower level she sat down a small child wandered over to her. Her response was so warm I loved her then as much as I do now. I never told her or anyone till now its my thing! Thanks for the question

Because generally, happy couples are talking to each other about their lives not to strangers on the internet.

Then it would look like this:

I've been married to my husband for 5 years. We are so happy and I know we'll be together forever. We have great communication and compatability and the sex is awesome!
That's good right?

(Really do you want to read a bunch of that?)

I agree, and it's hard sometimes to avoid answering all of the relationship questions, because there are just so many of them.
I like your suggestion for a category!
