We have all heard this statement handed down from generation to generation....do you think there is any truth in it?

It is sort of like "live by the sword, die by the sword." It must be at least partially true, but their are many exceptions to the rule. We are told our eternal reward is decided according to what we do in this life, so the comment asked about here must be true.

They say it's a Universal Law.
I believe it's somewhat true but seems to me to be oversimplified-a statement made to scare you into being generous, kind, etc. Kind of like a ther threat you'll go to hel if your'e not good.

It is definitely true and did you know that it comes from a biblical concept, "you reap what you sow." What you put out there is what you'll get back and usually, more! I've seen it in my life and others. It's a universal truth - and of course, God created the universe, so He put it into motion.

A small act of kindness might change the world some day....it's called the Bartholomew Effect.......but all the evil just keeps boiling in the atmosphere....we are all energy.....and all energy connects....kindness spreads kindness, and evil spreads more evil.......if you mean personally, like he/she cheated...now they're going to get cheated on......please....one could only wish.....in the bigger picture, yes, what goes around....definately comes around.....

If you believe in God, then you believe this statement.for you are who you are ,by how you treat others, and how you would expect to be treated.it may not happen right away, but one day, for your lack of concern for anothers feelings , or a lack of honesty,it will come around.for the only thing you have is your dignity and your word, without this, you are no one.and anyway, this is how God intended you to be.Honest, caring, and considerate of others. So live in Gods word, and you will never have to worry about it at all"
Good luck.And God Bless You"

Of course. There's nothing but truth in that statement. When you do good, good comes back to you thru blessings. When you do bad, bad comes back to you too.

I do. I think that when a person does something to someone they are so focused on what they are doing to others and oblivious to what someone is doing to them.
