i heard that the heads side of a quarter weighs more than the tails side and the head falls to the ground so there is a better chance to be tails than heads

they should weigh the same amount. but depending on the coin, if the head sticks out or is more bulky than the tail side, then it will be more heavier, though I don't think it will make a huge difference as to which side will be on the bottom.

No, this is just a myth certain people use when, unprobable enough, the heads side lands many more times than the tails side. They are both identical in their weight. Believe it or not, this has actually been proven.

My 9 yr old says the head side is heavier than the tails, that is why.

yes the head side does way more but the weight difference is so small that it does not effect the probablity of the outcome. it is still 50/50 on what it will land on

It depends on if the blank planchet of the coin has any voids in it or any impurities included inbetween the clad layers.

Yes, you are correct.

The reason for this is very simple.
The head which you can see has had fillings.

Very heavy fillings.
Never cleaned his teeth, you know!
Ate too many toffees.
