I'm starting to think this is impossiable. as soon as i meet a guy who I think would be a great friend he starts to hit on me and ask me out. So in your experience have you ever been able to be just friends without someone falling for someone?

well for a short while ....not for long... maybe when i'm older this will be possible but when u are a teenager i dont think its possible or in other words it never happened to me...

yes. my best friend is a strait guy i've known since the third or fourth grade. he nos i'm not interested in dating until i'm finished with school and he's had gfs. we're able to talk about pretty much everything. sometimes i do find myself wondering if we could be more than friends. we used to flirt a lot before his gf. i think that we think that a guy and girl can't be just friends because everyone expects them to fall for each other. i luv this guy to bits and pieces but can't see myself with him. i'm pretty sure he doesn't like me like that either, but only time will tell.

Not Yet. Either I have fallen for them or they have fallen for me. This has effected the friendship tremendously. We could talk to each other so well. then he asked me out and i said yes. big mistake. i really did like him but i think it was better just being friends. But at the same time it is really hard to go back to that. good luck with everything.

yes i have plenty of friends that are guys who are just friends. but when you start noticing those feelings for the "just friend" it can get difficult. maybe what you should do is if you feel comfortable enough with the guy, tell him you're not interested in the first place to go somewhere romantically. you chose your friends out of similar interests, personality types, and you appreciate them, sometimes realizing they are someone you wouldnt mind being with. try looking for those qualities in people you might want to go further than just friends with..

i know how you fell ! i had a good guy friend and one day we had a project to do and they asighned us as partners but this project was for two weeks so we spent alot of time together. so he eventualy had a crush on me and told one of my friends that told me ! but i didnt believe her until he actualy asked me out !! but realy i didnt have those kinda feelings for him that way ,so i told him straight up ! even though i should nt have but i just couldnt just say yes ! he didnt talk to me for a while but sooner or later we becae good friends and still are!! so just tel him he will probably take the wrong way for a while but he will soon lt go of the past nd you will be the best of friends!

i have a boy best friend and sometimes their the best person you could go out with give it a try and if you do split up then if you were good mates to begin with then you both should be able to go back to that

yeah you can im mates with a guy i met in club. it is possible..don't sleep with them on the first night...and see how it progresses and make sure you always say "Mate" when you talk to him, he should get the message eventully....
wow wish i was in your position as i have the opposite problem i want a relationship and they just want to be friends!
so yes you can!

yes! a boy n a gal can just only b frienz.its not necessary that every time when it comes to a boy n gal there should b sumthing other than friend ship. it depends wat both of them think of each other. i have many frienz who r gals that doesnt seem to b that all of them r my gal friend!
