This shouldn't be happening. I'm uncircumcised and have never had a problem with hygiene.
When you shower, take like 5 seconds to slide it back and soap it off and rinse. Honestly, it takes more time to wash most body parts.
In addition, if you have a long-ish foreskin, slide it back when you urinate/pee. Really, you don't even have to think about that because it happens almost automatically when you grab it.
In addition, if you masturbate, don't leave ejaculate there to dry. Clean up well, preferably with water.
And lastly, a light scent/smell is normal, regardless of being uncut or cut. That usually comes from around the pubic area. To see, just scratch yourself, haha. If you think you sweat too much down there, try using a powder like Gold Bond or corn starch.

If you are an adult, then you need to retract the foreskin and clean the whole area at least daily. Most men seem to prefer plain water (in the shower, for example) to soap for this purpose. If you want to use soap, keep it mild - no harsh stuff on sensitive parts
If you are keeping it clean, and it still stinks, then you might have an infection. See a doctor if you suspect that your problem is caused by infection.
Chopping off the foreskin will not help. Plenty of circumcised men stink, too!
If you are shaving your pubic area, let the hair grow back. Hair encourages air circulation, which keeps the area drier and less smelly. Most men who shave their pubes stink.
Use a little baby powder or other non-perfumed powder, as that will also keep you drier there. Some guys use deodorant there, but I've never tried that and don't know how well it works. If you use anything chemical like deodorant, wash it off before sexual activity.
Someone is sure to tell you to get circumcised, but that's a really bad idea. You'll still smell, but you'll have much less sexual pleasure for the rest of your life!
