My husband had a camera snap shot ticket that he was unaware of (they sent it to his old address) couple days ago he got arrested for a warrant for not showing up to his court date (luck us). So we had to get bail bond and my mother to get him out. On top of that they gave him a ticket for a taillight out and he already had one of these (a fix it ticket) So now he has two court dates and is going to have to fork out money that we dont have. You'd think that maybe someday the law will actually help people instead of bring them down. And on top of that, the truck's driving shaft broke off.. so not only can we not get around but money is no where. Anybody else have a problem like this?

first of all if you moved you are required to change you address with the DMV with in 10 days, so not knowing is not an excuse it is your fault. As for the camera he was speeding or going through a red light so again he was wrong not the cities fault. It is a sad state of events but bottom line you guys were in the wrong

"The system" could not possibly care less about the common person--- it is a case of -- not just Blind Justice but justice without feelings or conscience !! Wasn't that long ago-- when such matters were handled by Judges that had been tempered with experience and wisdom--- and a person could get Some leniency if they had no laundry list of stuff to show them as being a true risk to the social mechanism --- but not today--- it is so impersonal any more--- the only thing I can think could be a follow up to what is happening now will be when you are not only photographed in an infraction by an automated camera--- and billed for the infraction by a computer program--- but if you do not comply with the automated pay off on time--- they send a BOT out to your house to Shoot You !!!!
