ok Mrs.Suarez looks at the gas gaufe to see about how much gas she has left in her tank.....if the gas tank holds 18gallons when full,what is the most reasonable ESTIMATE of the number of gallon of gas Mrs. Suarez has LEF in her tank?

If the gauge read 1/3 full, she has 6 gallons.

18 X 1/3 = 18/3 = 6 gallons

Is the gas gauge 1/ full or 1/3 empty
If if is 1/3 empty then : 12 gallons
If it is 1/3 full then : 6 gallons
