It's tough b/c if healthy Prior and Hampton both have a huge upside, but both can't seem to stay healthy no matter what they do.

Wood is going to be a middle reliever, initially so he doesn't offer much value. Although he should still get Ks in bunches and has the potential to move into the closers role if Ryan Dempster struggles, but one has to wonder...if his arm can't hold up to pitching once every fifth day, can it really hold up to being called on five nights a week, even if it's just an inning or two at a time?

Betemit is a solid player but I still think he's a year or two off from any kind of big production. He also seems a bit lost in the Los Angeles lineup. I felt that he had a better chance to shine in Atlanta as LA has plenty of prospects who play corner infield positions as well as Furcal, Kent and Nomar who can shift between the two middle infield positions if need-be.

Personally, I'd go with Prior as a late-round pick because if he is healthy he has an improved ball club behind him in 2007 and he has proven that he is always a winner when healthy. All the reports I've read so far are pretty positive...so I'd say roll with Prior and hope for the best, but expect the worst.

Good luck!

Mike Hampton or Wilson Betimit (depending on your teams needs). For a long time Betemit was a top prospect in the Braves organization with nowhere to go because of Chipper Jones. For pitchers, I love Hampton, he is a lefty, and over the last two years he has been one of the most dominant pitchers in the game when healthy. All three are a risk, but I think Hampton is the best, then Prior. Wood already got hurt this year, slipping while getting out of a hot tub.

In the last couple of rounds of a draft taking Prior or Betemit would be worth taking a gamble with. I cant see Wood or Hampton getting drafted so they would be the kind of players you would track early and maybe pick up as free agents if they appear to be performing well. If you really like Wood then he could be another late rounder, remember that if they dont pan out you can replace them fairly easily. Hampton hasnt produced in way to long to spend a pick on, he will be available as a free agent so dont spend a pick on him( monitor his game and act quickly if you like what you see). The owners that make good free agent pickups are the ones at the top of the standings in any fantasy league so if you have a feel for someone take a shot late...if you are right then bonus...if you are wrong, so what it is worth the gamble.

Too undesirable the Indians didnt nevertheless have Borowski for the Yankees to get. Chaos, you forgot Damaso Marte. despite the fact that he has had a sturdy 300 and sixty 5 days as much as now, he's a ticking time-bomb. the only blessing for the Yanks is the Rays nevertheless have Choate and Benoit and seem to nevertheless think of they could make significant League setup met out of them.regardless of occurred to Howell and Wheeler? No contender in the AL, has an entire Pen, with the exception possibly of Texas. Tampa and the Yanks have the nearer, with suspect set-up. The White Sox and Twins are the different (despite the fact that Capps). The Angels and Tigers do no longer incredibly have the two. Texas would have the appropriate Pen, wood ought to have been a sturdy greater wholesome there as he's a Texas guy , yet in all probability expenses too lots. (be conscious I bypass away out Boston as a contendor?)

i would gamble on prior if he fell really far down. i think i would gamble on him if he were still around in round 7-9 because when healthy prior is a top tier pitcher.

None of those make me wanna cream my jeans with excitement. Try Roy Oswalt. He's been extremely consistent for several years now. He's one of the most underrated pitchers in baseball. He has great control with about four strikeouts to every walk.
