I work as a Direct Care Professional, which means I work with handicapped adults. I make $9.75/hour and work 7:00 am until 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday and some overtime shifts which I pick and choose. The functions of my job include assisting with daily living skills (hygiene; cooking; cleaning; money management; etc.) In response to the question of liking my job, I am not sure anymore. I love working with the persons served and making their lives better. The part I hate is dealing with all of the other stuff like the extreme amounts of paperwork that I have to do on a daily basis and am not allowed to have any errors on or I face disciplanary action. I also hate dealing with management everyday. It gets really stressful.

I usually like my job- I'm a travel consultant. The money's not great, but the perks are awesome. I work in an office with long opening hours- we stay open evenings, so I work either 10-5:30 or from 1:30-9.
