No, women were not allowed to compete in the Olympic games. Men competed naked. Only women who were married were allowed as spectators.

No, women did not compete in the olympics nor did they have their own olympics. Women in ancient Greece were second class citizens, who had no rights and had to be subservient to their husbands. Any special events like the olympics were for men only, because women were only allowed to take care of the house.

Female athletes were not allowed in the ancient Olympic games. It wasn't until the modern Olympics were well underway that women were allowed to compete. I think it was sometime in the 1900's.

No women werent allowed to attend or participate. One of the competitors mothers snuck in but was discovered, after that the men attending watched the Olympics naked. Kind of a neat, and true, history story.

Yes and no. You see, the men and women had separate Olympics. Not all men could participate though. Only citizens could participate. The slaves and peasants could not compete. Women could not compete or attend the men games. One time a lady got caught sneaking in. One of the main reasons they did not compete together is that the men competed naked. That is kind of nasty in a way. The women competed in robe like clothes. Well.....that's all I can really tell you off the top of my head.

Doubtful it was a problem then. chinese are very smart people and when they see a problem coming they like to look for a solution to the problem before it means the death of millions of people. They once had a famine in which most of the nation died. to keep that from happening again they decided to limit the amount of mouths to feed. It seems to me to be a better solution than killing each other over the last few bites of food.
