my mother had 5. I am due for my second c-section april 16th. I think with the technology out there today, that a death would rarely happen.

I have had 3 c-sections. While I am sure the risk increases each time you have a baby by c-section because of the scar tissue, I would not worry. I discussed it with my OB the 3rd time around, and she said that normally, they just go a bit slower during the surgery, to make sure they get through all the scar tissue easily. I actually recovered better and quicker than the 1st 2 as well, because by the 3rd time around, I really knew what to expect- nothing was a shock! I don't advise trying vaginal birth, and I don't even know if your OB would do it, if you've already had 2 c-sections. That is something you would have to discuss with her/him.

I have had 3 c-sections. My doctor told me theres no set # of c-sections you can have it just depends on your body. I was debating on getting a tubal.I had always heard three was all you could have.I did have tubal and I found out that my uterus was very thin that they could see my baby through it and if I was to get pregnant again my uterus would probally rupture. I dont know if that was b/c I had 3 c-sections though.

after 2 c-sections your doctor will have to do another c-section. the chance is very low. i have never heard of anyone dying from it. I have a friend who has 4 c-sections and she is fine. Talk to your doctor about the risks.

Your chances increase....but I know 2 women who have had 3 and 4
c-sections and they were just fine....

You will be fine....
I have one previous c-section and the doctor said that it's dangerous because I already have scar tissue, and could bleed excessively...
and with vag. delivery I could tear from the inside and bleed excessively.
But there's very little chance of either....

I hope this wasn't too graphic............good luck

I've had 3 with no problems...My aunt had 5...Talk to your Doctor about a Vbac. And then pick the birth plan you feel most comfortable with.

Good-Luck :)
