Windex, Ajax or Comet, liquid toilet bowl cleaner, dishwashing liquid (i like Dawn) and maybe a couple of those green scrubby pads......Also spick and span for the floors and something like mop and glo to keep the floors shiny.

Try buying 1 product that does a lot.
Like Clorox cleanup. It is a bleach containing product so it kills germs and you can use it in the kitchen, toliet, sinks, bathtub/ shower.
Also you need a product to mop the kitchen and bathroom floors with. Try looking for a "no rinse" product. Read labels.
You also need a vacuum by the way.
You should also buy WINDEX to clean mirrors and windows. Now you have 3 products to get everything done.
NOTE do not mix any products together especially ammonia based products with bleach because it causes a fatal fume if mixed. And only when mixed. You can use them NEAR each other but not mixed together.

I have been cleaning house for 36 years and I just now found a very good time saver and excellent piece of equipment. It is a steamer. I got it on a clearance sale for $9 and I do everything with this. Mirrors, windows, tile floor, ceramic tile, commode, tub, sink and even the chandolier. I am coming up with more and more things to use this machine on every and at $9 it can't be beat. No need for harsh cleaners either. Remember if you do get one get one with the attachments.

I'd only add two products that SHOULD clean everything.....
Scrub Free (foaming shower, tub and toilet bowl cleaner)
Lysol All surface disenfecting cleaner. Cleans everything else and gets rid of germs!
One more thing, use an anti-bacterial pump soap for on your kitchen sink...

go buy a swiffer wet jet for spills and to clean the floor. a bottle of lysol will kill the germs in your kitchen and bathroom. you will need a dish rack for your kitchen and soap to wash dishes. i will suggest J clothes because they are disposable and cheap to replace rather than having to wash them. you will need a toilet scrubber and shower cleaner. that should cover ya. enjoy the new place!!
