Applebee's uses the Musak satellite network.Then they choose which station to play.There are usually over 100 to choose from.

There actually might be a applebee's station. Someone at the corporate office might be a Dj and pick out all the tunes. I know that's how guitar center does their music. They have their own station and it is Via Satellite
