Dems pulled the old bait and switch on the American voters, so far all they've done is ask for a plane with 42 seats for Speaker Pelosi.

What is the old adage about fooling some of the people all of the time?

The last thing the Dem's are going to do is impeach Bush. First of all, like the Republican's with Clinton, they lack serious grounds for impeachment. Allegations from anti-Bush fanatics are not facts.

Secondly, while they could probably get articles of impeachment through the House, there is no way that he would be ousted by the Senate. The Dem's majority is too slim.

This entire impeachment thing was little more than an effort to appease their extremist base.

Finally, why would they want to impeach him. Their best hope for winning the White House in '08 is to keep Bush in office and just keep pounding on him from their position as The Anti-Bush Party.

Don't you just love politics!

They also ran on the platform that they would bring our troops home. If they had a spine they would just vote to stop funding instead of these tax payer money wasting "non binding resolutions".

I have grave news today concerning the war (now, this might be the worst news in years about circumstances on the ground in Iraq): American and Iraqi forces are cracking down in Baghdad -- even as Democrats here are trying to undermine the troop surge that President Bush has ordered.

Shi'ite militiamen -- who just weeks ago were openly roaming the streets, armed to the teeth -- are in hiding, and have ditched their weapons. Some have even left the city. One of Mookie al Sadr's guys told the press that his gang had been given orders to stand down if American and Iraqi forces impose tight security on the city.

Now, this is no small matter, my friends, since Mookie's militia is considered one of the main obstacles to quelling the violence in Baghdad. Mookie himself, the head honcho of this gang, has reportedly fled to Iran. Shi'ite officials have told the press that Mookie's guys want to avoid a battle so they can protect their political seats in the Iraqi government.
And there's more news: Iraq's government has closed its borders with Iran and Syria. And despite Democrats here claiming that Iraqis are against the troop surge, their government is assuring Islamic nations that the surge and security plan now underway will work; that it will help end the sectarian violence.

The war is not lost. Iraqis are optimistic. The enemy is fleeing. This thing can be won! All is not hopeless...which is horrible news for the Democrats, as I told you at the beginning.

The democrats never said they would impeach Bush, never, Nancy Palosy said there will be investigations but never promised that they would result in impeachment. If you have a link that says different please feel free to share.

Uh, sorry to burst your bubble, but nobody ran on the platform of impeaching Bush... Nobody promised that at all. Whoever told you that seriously misinformed you.

What did you believe the Dimwitacrat Party
Like cleaning up the corruption by putting an alleged felon on DHS committee, giving Star kist a pass on wage increase, or BS non-binding resolution

actually, you listen to too many rivals saying what dems where going to do rather than reading their actual agenda and proposals that were posted on their website.
same thing the first answerer does consistently.
if there is nothing else we can depend on people like you for, we definitely can depend on you being grossly uniformed.
