amd 3200+ cpu
1024 mb ddr ram
ge-force 6600 agp
2 x 120gb hdd
abit nf7-s motherboard
genuine windows xp home
-----------------------------------------
and to upgrade to
intel dual core E4300 cpu
1024mb ddr2 ram

intergrated pci-e graphics

i am tempted but the intergrated graphics spec puts me off,and with the warranty i wont be able to upgrade straight away

note: i have a extensive knowledge of building p.c,s ect so should i discard the warranty and upgrade the graphics with a radeon x1950 straight away?
any advice will be appreciated

It seems that the one you have currently is a pretty sweet rig. since you are pc savvy, the upgrade (as far as the video card goes) would be a good idea if you decided to go with the upgrade.

i'm not too keen on Vista yet, i had RC1 and 2 on my pc at home, but i'm not ready to leave xp yet....

The pc you already have does not sound to bad at all, plenty of hdd. a bit more ram would be nice if the motherboard will take it.

I dont like integrated graphics I suggest you stay with the graphics card

The 2nd computer is better and it would be much better if it had a video card. Did you say that you can get a Radeon x1950? Hell go for it

The system you have isn't that bad, need a little more memory and a better video card (if gaming). And if trying to get an on-board video card, do NOT expect it to play 3d games. goto www.tomshardware.com for benchmarks and guides.

It all depends on the price, think about the real difference and not just the specs.
