My question is: Who played the role of Herod Antipas' guard that executed the Baptist? Did this guard have a name in the film? If yes, what was it?

Did the guard speak in the movie? If he didn't, then he's probably uncredited and you wont be able to find the answer. Actors in movies back then only got credit if they had a speaking part - otherwise they were just considered an extra. (I couldn't see any reference to Herod's Guard on IMDB.)
