You cannot erase the past, all you need to do is not give the past humans power who have done you wrong and become stronger for knowing you survived, That is life's fight. Reaching that love you already have inside.

Whats not to love?

A long time ago I thought that love was something that you reserved for some special set of people that you had judged worthy of it.

After a while I got to thinking about what Jesus had said about turning the other cheek and loving our neighbor I put the two together and realized that he had made no exceptions in these statements. It became obvious to me that he intended that we exclude no one from the love that we are supposed to be giving. I started thinking about my idea of love and suddenly realized that I had not been loving anyone at all. I had simply been judging everyone and every thing.

Judging someone worthy of love is not love, it is only judgment. I actually started to cry when I realized this. I saw just how much of my life I had wasted being judgmental, thinking of myself as a Christian, when I was actually doing just the opposite of what Jesus had asked us to do.

I thought about the verse judge not lest ye be judged, and I understood it for the first time.

I realized that I have a lot of catching up to do. So many opportunities were wasted. I now try to apply the love that I have for the world in a universal way like Jesus asks us to do.

If I start to feel afraid and think that I see someone that I should not love because of something I have thought or heard I try to catch my mistake as soon as possible. I tell myself that I have forgot the truth and have fallen for the same old trick that had cost me so many opportunities to be loving in the past. The horror of this realization is often all that is necessary to bring me back to my senses and make me drop the judgmental nonsense I was thinking.

I still have a lot to learn about love, but at least I’m making progress.

Almighty has chosen you, and every other person
for a particular purpose. The aim of life is to
understand the greatness of the creator. And to search
for the purpose for which a soul is given human life.
This purpose differs from person to person because it
is dependent on the past Karma of the soul. (It is as
different as our finger prints, no two are alike). But
one thing is sure. Human beings are the highest of all
creation. The rest of the creation is intended for the
use of human beings. How you use is dependent on your
mental attitude. When you understand that purpose, then
you will derive the highest happiness of your life.

You will learn to love yourself, and the life given to you.

We already love ourselves. We clothe ourselves, bathe, feed, please, and defend ourselves. Human beings are naturally selfish and look out for themselves first and foremost. The difficulty is loving others the way we love ourselves. Jesus told us that this was the 2nd greatest commandment. The first is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength... and the 2nd is like it... love your neighbor as yourself. If we could really get a handle on those two commands and love in this way, we would have no problem finding happiness and satisfaction in life.

You are the lonely 'paradise_m83' existing on Earth. Everyone of us have to live going down into ourselves always more at the bottom of our souls. When we'd find out that the other one has the same problems, the same happiness, the same avidity to know and to understand, and to relate with, I think that is the moment that we finally discover the real ourselves. So to say me and you are the same in the difference. At this moment is like we were blind, no colour skin, no nationality, no different sex, no religion, etc., 'cause the important is we speak with the same language. Ciao.

These counsels have helped me to get an understanding and appreciate who I am ... I hope that they may be useful to you too.

"I created thee rich, why dost thou bring thyself down to poverty? Noble I made thee, wherewith dost thou abase thyself? Out of the essence of knowledge I gave thee being, why seekest thou enlightenment from anyone beside Me? Out of the clay of love I molded thee, how dost thou busy thyself with another? Turn thy sight unto thyself, that thou mayest find Me standing within thee, mighty, powerful and self-subsisting."

"Thou art My lamp and My light is in thee. Get thou from it thy radiance and seek none other than Me. For I have created thee rich and have bountifully shed My favor upon thee."
