All gay women are good at sports...LOL. I think it would be great for all of them to come out of the closet so those in our society who are ignorant and narrow minded will just "get over it."

Over all, if all the really good players came out of the closet, it would be a major revelation to many here....those close-minded phobes who have no clue in life. How does being gay or straight effect a game???? I cannot quite figure that one out. I have not heard of any jock having the make put on him in the locker room...have you?

It doesn't matter to me. There are some players I believe are gay but it doesn't change the way I view their abilities. It is really a shame that they feel they have to hide it. Actually, I think I'd be proud of a player who'd be brave enough to acknowledge it while still active.

I love sports, and I also think that every body's lifestyle should be kept within themselves. I for one would not want a gay person taking a shower with me in an open bay, nor seeing me getting dressed, I would feel like I was being violated, just like a woman would if a man were to watch her shower, or get dressed.

nicely..i'm not a gay guy, i'm FTM, yet i replaced into into activities for awhile. i did not stop by using fact of my gender identity (despite if that replaced right into a small component to it, by using actuality that i replaced into making females in the locker room uncomfortable apparently) yet I gave it up by using fact I have been given quite in contact with college and academia, and nevertheless am to on the present time. I in simple terms did not have lots time for extra curriculars. additionally, my opinion of activities has replaced. I advise athletics is a robust element and that i think of it encourages friendly opposition, teamwork, and self-discipline and all that, yet..while it comes right down to being a celebrity soccer participant or having a severe GPA and a powerful resume, which do you think of employers check out extra?

Since being gay means only that you are attracted sexually to the same sex, it has nothing to do with Sports. Personally I would not mind if my favorite foot ball player was/is gay, the gay part is his own business

who cares, they are in sports because they are a good athlete. i think people put too much emphasis on athletes and celebrities being "role models" for children. but i think an athlete, gay or straight can be a good role model if they show that they worked hard at their craft to get where they are today. athletes should be honored for their greatness in their sports not for what goes on in their personal lives. also, i think gay or straight they should keep that info to themselves. i don't care if they are gay or are married to someone from the opposite sex. i really don't care.

They exist, just like there are gay people everywhere. It would make no difference to me one way or the other, other than to admire them for coming out.
