Well, a ciggarette was left on the top of my washer to eventually burn out but melted it too and left a nasty mark. can I fix this?

Perhaps. Depending on where you go the washing machine that is. See, most appliance shops carry these little bottles of appliance paint that can be used to fix little scratches or chips or even burns like this. Before applying, use some 2000-2500 grit wet/dry sandpaper to GENTLY sand the burn mark off!Wipe it down with some nail polish remover and when that dries off, apply the paint and you're done!

You can have the trim (plastic piece) replaced. That would be the only way of repairing a melted plastic trim piece.

use a cleaner for glass electric stovetop range. can be bought at any hardware store. trust me it works.
