I know where you're at! I used to feel like you.Everytime I turned around something was going wrong from being in a car accident and breaking my neck to my husband lying to me about some major things to both my teenage daughters getting pregnant a year apart and taking care of my mother in law who passed away from cancer. all this in 2 to3 years time. Well I see it as being thankful and lessons learned out of each experience. When you think you can't take anymore you can. I think God slows us down for a reason. Whether to reevaluate your life, or to be thankful things weren't worse(hey I'm still alive and walking after a broken neck) . There is a reason and I think maybe there is a different route in your life you're supposed to take and you just don't see it or know it yet.

Luck has nothing to do with your life, hon, it is in your hands and yours alone. Only you can load things on your plate, and only you can take them off...................
If you want a good job, get an education.... in fact, here are the things my mom told you soooooo long ago. I have a lovely life, and it is not thru luck, sweetie, it thru looking at the possible effects of your choices. And if some idiot tells you to pray to god, use the time instead to study your college courses to get ahead, and get thos A's.
1. The most important thing you will ever do is choose a husband. Do do carefully.
2. Make me a mother in law before you make me a grandmother.
3. Never have children you cannot support by your own efforts. And don't have any until your marriage is strong. Children can destroy anything.
4. Finish your education, and qualify for a high paying job. Marriage is not a life-time meal-ticket. You will have to work sometime during your life, count on it, and maybe for decades. Get paid for it. Let someone else work at McDonald's.
5. Have a stash of cash even though you think you will never need it.... you absolutely will, and the more the better.
Ohhhhhhh, thank you mom for that conversation!!!!!... I was able to avoid all sorts of terrible pitfalls,,,, I love you for that, and so many other life instructions.

Life is not about luck. If things are blowing up in your face, you are making bad decisions. When you face that fact, and get some help learning how to make better decisions your life will turn around. If you are thinking other people are making the bad decisions, thats fine..... but...... if those decisions are affecting you then you should not be making a decision to associate with people that are making bad decisions that affect you. Im not saying the decisions you made yesterday were bad. The bad decisions you made may have been 2 years ago, when you set in motion your commitment to a certain job, husband, lack of education, alcohol, etc..... Life is partially about risk management and good LONG TERM decision making. Therapists help with this area a lot so you might consider looking into that. If they dont help you can always leave but if you really want a better life you need to get some quality advice somewhere. Therapists typically have good lives and lots of real world experiance so they can usually help as much as you will listen and let them help.

Things will eventually get better. When you hit rock bottom you can only go up. It's just like that saying "When everythings going your way, your in the wrong lane." Don't worry about it so much and try to avoid any conflicts you can. It's like a cycle, something goes wrong, you fix the problem, everything is calm for a while and then something goes wrong again and the process repeats. You never know how long each step will be but life would be boring if everything always went our way. Good luck.

Everything comes in 3's. So it is also said, God tests our faith. (if you believe in him) It also says in the bible that we will suffer and be tested. Have faith. I sometimes think to myself, "I didn't break that many mirrors"...LOL
Mine has been for squat for a number of yrs. and is finally breaking way to some decent luck. I haven't hit the lottery or anything, but am managing to get by and my ilnesses are starting to heal and STAY healed. (Have had 6 surgeries to same spot on my ankle due to a venous stacis ulcer. This is the FIRST time it has healed completely and remained healed for any length of time. Last surgery was over a yr. ago.)
Have Faith...It won't last forever.
I do also agree that attitude has a lot to do with it. I used to grumble because I couldn't walk far if at all sometimes. I think about the man who has no legs and would be greatful to have 2 that even hurt all the time as oppossed to none. I almost lost one because of the ulcer. Had gangrene, e-coli and couple other infections in it.

If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all! I think a lot has to do with attitude. Even when things aren't going the way I expect them too, I usually find - later down the road - that those experiences were what I needed at the time.

There is not a storm that last too much, and after this will come the calm. And the MOST important thing, what are you doing bad, I mean, are you doing some thing bad to some one else. Watch out, Life is an echo.
Pray to God, and GOOD LUCK!!!

I had many many experiences where my luck went out the back door. All the family I have are mean spiteful abuse people so I am in a constant state of depression and was excommunicated. The family members whom I loved dearly all died, including my dad. I think I will be in a rut till the day I die.

I don't know if you believe in God or not, but it does talk in the bible about being attacked for a season, so whenever things seem to go totally bad, I know that it is only for a season and that soon they will get better, I have started enjoying the good times more and being more prepared for the bad times. Good Luck.......

There is nothing like luck. You create your own luck !
Carefully thought out plan, carefully executed, is called luck, especially by others.
So be your own boss; don't wait for the "luck" to arrive.
