i have low toner and want to send a fax. does the fax machine need toner to send an outgoing fax or is it scanned instead? i thought it might just need toner for incoming faxes in order to print. if someone knows it would be a huge help for me.

Toner is used to print, it will not affect outgoing faxes in any way.

Only incoming fax will be affect. Not outgoing, the data is read and send to the other fax, the other fax will print it and need ink
