She will not be able to afford a lawyer.
Minimum to retain one is $5000.00.
And her damages are probably less than that.
Maybe she will take you to small claims court.
Don't worry..

You can fire anyone for any reason except...the wrong reason.

Wrongful dismissal is the worst lawsuit you can be laid on you. during her 90 days of work did you give her any warning in writing about her poor performance?
if you didn't give her proper notice you will be paying out of your nose for at least 26 weeks of her full back pay. the next time you had better follow the rules,
If i were you i would call her back and start over it could be worst that in said if she gets a good lawyer. you may end up working for her.

what i think is she wants it in paper and hire an attorney and she will lie and say she was kind to the customers and if the business changes the story she has that paper. or unless she is tryin to file for unemployment. it can be used for diff causes

did you have something written stating she was in a 90-day probationary period and that if she did something wrong within that time limit---you could have fired her for looking at you funny....but if this was not stated and she never was given verbal and written warnings...that could be a problem....if she was doing this over and over and no one ever pointed this out and then one day boom she's fired over it....that could be a big problem.....

I would say to try your best to recall the dates/times you spoke to her about her actions. You always want to make sure your i's are dotted and t's are crossed!
