direction? Sometimes I feel like it isn't about being American but being a person who lives in the United States. You know? This is going on in New York. In case you haven't heard.

Yes, either we are a melting pot or not! If they want to study Arab culture and talk Arabic, they should leave and go where they feel more at home.

No. It is a REALLY REALLY BAD IDEA. Every school age child in the United States should be required to study the same curriculum: Mathematics, Science, Grammar, Literature, American History, World History and at least one foreign language. One thing I have always admired about people in the Middle East who can afford to educate their children: They can all speak , read, write and comprehend a minimum of 3 or 4 languages.
We must learn not to be so insular with our education. We are not doing our children a favor by shielding them for the world and what happens in other countries. Culture is a part of our education that has been missing since 1972. What good is intelligence if we don't know how best to use it.

Sure it is. You get a better understanding of the Arabic culture and religion I would go if I knew Arabic or wanted to learn how to speak it.

Yes. The huge percentage that flat out hate the USA (but love our freedoms and money) is so high that it is no longer worth the risk of them being in the general population. If we separate them it will be much easier to keep track of what they are up to.

No i think its going backwards in time like when blacks and whites were seperated. It's labelling someone before you've ever met them. Not a good idea.

They already have their own schools but you can't force them out of the public schools.
