Homeland Security: a pack of lying idiots?

Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean.
Two former Border Patrol agents accused of shooting an illegal drug smuggler, then covering it up.

The United States Dept. of Justice wants these two American citizens to pay for this "crime".

Guess what?
Someone in the government lied to us!

"...the Department of Homeland Security now admits that its official lied to congressmen in claiming that Ramos and Compean had confessed, lied, destroyed evidence, and said they did not believe the smuggler was a threat. No evidence ever existed for those damaging accusations."

Why doesn't our president stop the DOJ and DHS?

We should all band together and email the Whitehouse to Bush and then give it a week and call the local news reporters from the are it happened. Second thought we can do this from any area and contact one of our own local reporters to do a follow-up story. These men should be freed, this is a injustice for what the men did everyday, not knowing what illegal they were dealing with. Isn't this why they were hired to do their jobs? Where is this drug dealer, is this illegal drug dealer walking our streets???

Those border agents should be pardoned by the president. Homeland security has shown how ineffective it is by the mess in New Orleans and the Gulf coast. Just as the intelligence community needed a major change so does Homeland security. Political appointments has created a monster and the people need something done to regain control.

Bush could do something if he wanted. Homeland Security as well as the Dept. of Justice would follow his wishes. His ratings are so low right now, he's trying to figure out which decision would be the most politically correct. It's disgraceful.

This whole situation is a travesty. Bush just ignores the illegal immigration right along with the up-scale drug trafficking going on during his watch. I'm sure there is another pay off here someplace.

Drug smugglers should be shot crossing our borders. They are a threat to YOUR very existence as well. Do you want them selling or giving your children drugs? Do you want them living next door to you? The ones doing the shooting should be FREED IMMEDIATELY.

What a backward way to find out it is all right for an armed mexican to be transporting marijuana.
