Originally from Liverpool in the UK. Now live in Dublin, Rep of Ireland.
I lived in London for years and wanted a slower pace - was tired of all the rushing about and worried about travelling on the tube. I didn't want to go back to Liverpool as it was too close to my family - so I moved to Dublin.
I moved here because I knew I could live in the city and have a better quality of life - Its gr8 here, most people are really friendly - shame there's no national health service tho - I never thought I'd say I miss the NHS !!

I'm from Connecticut, and I now live in Maine. If I had the chance to start over in a different state, I wouldn't take it. It took me 2-3 years to make the adjustment here. Some Maine people have the habit of not liking people from "away."
