Where can I purchase a brick $2 dollar Bills?
I found this item on ebay # 110092051068 but I don't want to pay that much for them. Where can I purchase a brick of 1000 $2 bills like the on for auction? I went to the BEP website but didn't find any info?

go to a local bank, and they could exchange other currency for $2 bills.

Do not go to the bank! Call the bank of your choice and ask for the person that orders currency. There is usually one person at each branch that deals with the Federal Reserve. Tell the person that you would like to order a bundle of $2 bills, which is 1,000 notes = $2,000. If you choose a large branch you will usually get your currency in about 3-5 days. There is No Fee for this service. I have been ordering a bundle of two dollar bills every month for several years. Leave your phone number with the currency person and ask them to call when the bundle is in. I suggest you buy a canvas money bag. When the notes are ready, head for the bank early. If you go near closing time, they may have closed the vault, so the earlier the better. They will deduct the $2,000 from your account. Give the teller the bag and they will show you the 10 currency straps wrapped in thick plastic. They will put the bundle in your bag. Note: A Bundle is 10 (100 note) straps. The Bundle is always encased in plastic. The teller may ask you if you want them to "Run" the notes. Tell them NO. If they run the notes through the money counting machine it will likely bend andmark-up several of the notes. On eBay you will see Bricks of $2 s for sale. Although they say they are "Bricks," they are really 1,000 note Bundles. A Brick, according to the bureau of engraving and printing, consists of 4 Bundles = 4,000 Notes. A Brick of $2 s is $8,000.

Best of Luck to you!
