I had unprotected sex 9 days before my period was due. It has since been 6 days and I am 3 days away from my period. In the past 6 days, I have had slight cramps, like period ones, but I NEVER used to get them before or during my period, slight dizziness, slight fatigue, sensitvity to smell ( I smell cigarettes EVERYWHERE), butterfly like feeling in my stomach, and a few days of bleeding while brushing my teeth and flossing.

If I am pregnant, when should I test? Could I take a First Response, that tests 5 days before your missed period even though I would have just conceived 6 days ago?

You don't start having cramps on the day of conception!

You're most certainly psyching yourself to think you might be pregnant. Be careful with your thoughts - that's how phantom pregnancies start. Wait until your period is due before taking any tests. The three days won't make a difference if you are, and why waste money on a test you may not need to take. The three days do make a difference in accuracy of the tests results, however. The tests which you can take 5 days before missed period are only about 67% accurate that early on.

I do wonder what you mean by "few days of bleeding while brushing my teeth and flossing." Where your gums bleeding?

You had unprotected sex on the hot ovulation time so most probably you are pregnant. The symptoms you have I had them in both my pregnancies even before my periods were due.Stress can make you feel like having those symptoms too .In my opinion if you are just 3 days away from ur periods then do First Response test it is very good I did it 4 days before my due date and it was positive.Just do the test with early morning urine.
All the best.

If you are just pregnant you would not have those symptoms already. It takes a while for your hormones to gear up and cause all those symptoms. You are probably psyching yourself into feeling like that because you are scared that you are pregnant.

The first response tests can sometimes detect a pregnancy early. If you can't wait, take one, but it may show up as not pregnant even if you are. Wait and take it again if you do miss your period.

All the best...

I'd consider it unlikely, but you'd want to talk to a Doctor. They'll tell you the best tests and offer advice.

It should be okay to test now, but it would be better to go to your doctor and get a blood test.

first of all it would be WAYYY to early to be experiancing pregnancy symptoms. and also it takes atleast a week for implantation to occur. i think its all in your head.
