Self-Satisfaction is the biggest motivator in my opinion. People do things for a multitude of reasons but the most important reason is to do something for YOU. Once accomplished, it is a goal realized, a challenge conquered. It is really only meaningful to yourself. The old adage. "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." really sums up the whole of human fortitude.

It's not WHAT you accomplish that matters. It is WHY and how you do it. If it's something easy, no big deal. If it is something HUGE (to yourself that is) it gives you a great "High". Makes you proud of yourself. If others notice, that's just icing on the cake....

Another favorite quote that I like is: "If you lose the game, don't lose the lesson."
