i need a couple reasons to get myspace...good reasons

- Keep in touch with people who do not live in your area (freinds,family)
- Its an excuse to hang on to freindships without losing touch.
- Show your creativity
- Show off who you are and where you have been
- Network! Meet new people..
- Grow your business and advertise for free
- Discover new music!

It helps you to stay in touch with friends. If youre ever absent from school and need to know what the assignments you missed are, you simply post a bulletin and your friends can reply. Its an awesome thing all around
But be as safe as possible. Don't post any personal information about yourself. Use a different age and location than yours. Don't add or talk to any people that you don't know. Also, keep your page private. Then people won't be able to see anything about you until after you approve their request to add you.
I'm sure you've heard this all before, but just to make sure. There are many good things about it. But in order for you to enjoy the good, you have to protect yourself from the bad.
Just tell your parents about all of the precautions that you will take, and that you WILL let them know if something bad happens.

Because I own stock in NewsCorp. NewsCorp owns MySpace as well as Fox News and some other media holdings. Everytime MySpace drops some spyware on your hard drive the earnings fall to the bottom line and I make money.
Bring your friends. Get socially networked. It's a WHOLE lot easier making money off of the abudant ignorance of kids than it is trying to leverage it out of your parents.

Something else to do on the Internet besides YA
Don't know how old you are, but from what I can tell myspace is mostly for teens and college people.

Well, I got it after I went to camp. I live in Michigan, but I went to summer camp in Maine, so I knew that I wouldn't be seeing my friends again. So, I got myspace to keep in touch with them.
Basically, what I'm saying is, it kind of just retains ties with people.

I had it, and I canceled it yesterday. I think its to much advertisement
but if you need a good reason.
