I'm looking between a 2000-2003 Infiniti I35 and a 2000-2003 Acura TL. What do you think is better based on looks (inside and out), price, dependability, maintenance, and driving experience?

Infiniti by far. More powerful, better looking, classier, better reliability, and better resale.

Before I say anything the Infiniti I35 was made only from 2002-2004. The 2000-2001 models were called I30. Anyways, I have a 2000 Infiniti I30 and would not trade it for an Acura TL. The Acura's are way more common than the Infiniti and I doubt it'll be as powerful since the I models have the most powerful engine in their class. You can't go wrong with either of them, however, but I'm just used to my Infiniti and I like it better. Nevertheless, the Acura TL Type-S is a very nice car and might actually pursuade me to change, but that's if I was looking for another car.

Infiniti. While the new generation TL is a very good car, the earlier models were basically rebadged accords with very few things changed. The I35 is faster, better handling, and (IMO) better looking. Nissan and Honda reliability are both very good, so that isn't a big issue. But definately I would strongly suggest the I35.
