No functions work on my Alba RDVD1006?

Question

All I get is a flashing blue light on the front of the unit...any ideas?
I can't use the scart because out portable TV doesn't have a socket, I'm just connected using the RF antenna.

if use old portable tv, then you have to tune the dvdr in, via the tv.

BUT if you are still getting problems, like no functions, then the machine is faulty ( alba have that repution ). Take it back to the shop and exchange it.
